Welcome to the first featured painting of the month!

Patchwork Pond is based on a view of Witch Hole Pond in the Duck Brook area of Acadia National Park. In my newest work I am working with a bit more texture applying paint with palette knives, plastic paint scrapers and square ended brushes. I feel as though I am in a place where I am taking a look back on work done in the late 1990’s.

The studio is now open for the summer season. I am doing things a bit differently this year. My business hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from noon to 5 pm. Of course, I will be available by appointment anytime or checking ahead with a phone call or text to make certain I am in the studio on days other than normal business hours.

Tyra at The Gallery at Somes Sound is also displaying my work in her beautiful space this summer with a feature presentation of my newest work going on now until June 25, 2019.

My summer reception will take place on Sunday July 21, 2019 from noon to 5 pm.

Hope you all have a great summer!
